Sioux Valley Energy sells high-efficiency Marathon water heaters to members only. Marathon offers a lifetime tank warranty for residential applications along with a six-year warranty on parts and a ten-year tank warranty with three-year warranty on parts for agricultural application, commercial or rental applications carry a 10-year tank warranty with 5-years on parts. Warranties are based on the manufacturer date.
- A rebate of $4 per gallon (50 gallon or larger) is offered for electric replacement water heaters.
- New construction or gas conversions can be purchased at a discounted rate of $240 plus tax for any size: 50, 85, or 105 gallons.
In order for Sioux Valley Energy to offer discounted water heater prices, customers must agree to allow us to install load management receivers on their water heaters for a minimum of five years. Customers receive a $4 credit per month with a minimum billing of 300 kWh for total electric usage or if you qualify for the electric heat program, your water heater may be eligible to be sub-metered as part of the electric heat rate.
